It’s Oldest birthday!

Well well well, while i’m counting down to my last few days at work. Let me do an update on my dearest coach, songzhen! It was her birthday on 080810 and that marks the day when she turns into a tiger for the 2nd time.

Don’t get it? Zodiac has 12 animals, the year you born would represent what animal. So she is a tiger for the 2nd time, age please? :]

Anyway, enough of that nonsense. So we the older generation players decided to do an impromptu surprise for her on 070810, a day before her birthday at her place.

So the surprise plan was initially like this:

1: Alicia asks Songzhen out for supper as she was feeling down when she is with all the nonsense people.

2. Got to know she was already on her way home from town *everybody panicks!*

3: Lied to her that i’m waiting alone downstairs at her place. *all the oldies sneak up to her place*

4. Songzhen nice daddy waited for us even though he didn’t need to do that and let us in her place.

5. Prepares the cake, presents while waiting for her to come back.

6. Alicia heads down again with a fake cake from songzhen’s dad and gave it to songzhen which she might already think something wrong was going on *looks around* but to only see Alicia only. *evil smile*

7. While heading up, Alicia was required to call brenda to inform them songzhen is coming but well she was too nervous and she forgot, like totally.

8. Reach songzhen’s place, pass her the cake and force her into the kitchen, walks into her room and inform the rest and wanlin blurt out the hap of the happy birthday song. haha SORRY WANLIN!

9. Songzhen walks in while brenda still lighting the cake, another fail, SORRY BRENDA! but light on, whole bunch of oldies arised from the floor and kind of surprised her.

10. Sings the usual, cuts the cake, talks about the bloopers by me.

I had to admit West spring oldies are really creative for this part. It was a photo frame for songzhen so it makes sense that she will face it most of the time, therefore they cut of her face and put in a mirror. So it will reflect her!

But thanks to her, we were the only punctual people. getting cheated by songzhen saying they left for Jurong point already while they are still in songz’s place! nehnehshit.

LJS with dear piggy while feeling sleepy at the same time, finished breakfast all the oldies still not yet reached with WSP being late somemore. Sometimes being punctual is not good too yea?

Bus 194 brought us to the birdpark, somewhere i believe songzhen have been dying to go since idk when..

Moving on the some artificial man made waterfall. Typical tourists must do : Fingers must be wide open with hands placed at you shoulder length. Erm, songzhen?

Things were getting a lil boring as it was just birds, birds and more birds so the oldest decided to let us do.

THE PHOTO CHALLENGE!

Task: Split yourself into 2 groups and find as many people as possible to take a photo with you.

Rule: Everybody must ask!

So we had the WANLIN group and SONGZHEN group.

WANLIN’S GROUP: Yunrui, Wanqian, Wanyi, Suming

SONGZHEN’S GROUP: Awesome, Piggy, Jiaqi, Chiayi, Kayfun.

Loser team have to initially ask for a kiss on the cheek from a stranger but we were still young and innocent so just 3 signatures from 3 different people.

Here to share some really cute people we encounter during the game.

My cute boyfriends who were staring at us when we were taking photo with a caucasian family, i bet they are eyeing on songzhen since they might be of same age.

Biggest group we have taken we! but we lost to the other group man, they just call this huge group of tourists who were observing the birds to just turn and smile to the camera. min 50 people man. OWNAGE!

With that photo, that concludes our challenge as the other group’s camera went out of battery so ended half an hour earlier. Gathered as the main foyer, started the counting of the people in the photos, sharing the funny experiences.

Everything was great until…. the other group started counting 221, 222, 223, 224, 225.

Ok final count for them 225, I was only counting till 190 plus. Really scare we were gonna lose because our photos are nearing the end too.. ” 223, 224 (changes next photo and sees 4 people)”

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! WE WON THE CHALLENGE!

Final count 239! Won by 14 people! its was really near man.close fight girls! It’s all about the fun not the win, I had fun and I bet they do too

Went to some gallery along the way out for air con and hey, do you know there are so many kinds of eggs? The smallest is like the size of a 5 cents coin. It’s that small.

With no ending pictures, that ends our trip in JBP, oh ya along the way Wanting joined us, crazy wasted her money to see a few things only. By the end, everyone was so lethargic and worn out. But the day has not come to an dinner!

Initially I was thinking maybe pizza hut or whatsoever that is a proper place for a birthday dinner but we were brought to TJ for tze char, weird huh?

But it turns out, eh pretty decent you know, the food, portions, variety, everything was fine just that we had to split tables which I really don’t encourage since its a group outing. No choice, it had to happen anyway.

Dinner bonding with my juniors were the best man, I didnt know I had so lil knowledge on them until this dinner I got to know more, really happy about it because we got to know each other even more and this will continue on.

The bonding session continued at Superbowl, its like revealing so much of this and that and the sharing session was super dope awesome. Who would know songzhen’s best first impression was wanlin and wanyi right? haha.

This looks like some famous people chat and talk session in the RC while some kids at the back do their own things. haha.
